The purpose of IGH guest bloggers is to broaden IGH’s professional wisdom, giving readers advice from the people who know it the best – wedding professionals! Do you have a great idea you’d like to share, a DIY project, or “Top 5 Tips” post? We can’t wait to share your wedding knowledge and insight with Indy brides and grooms! To submit a guest blog post, please use the following guidelines:

• 1. When writing, think about the voice you want to share with IGH readers. Make your words honest to how you would speak, fun to read, and clear and concise.
• 2. Once your blog post is complete, spell check.
• 3. We like to include some information about our guest bloggers when posting their blogs. Help us gather that information by including the following in the body of your submission email:
• – Name
• – Company Title
• – Company
• – Website
• – Years at company
• – Facebook link
• – Twitter link
• 4. People love looking at pictures. If you have a picture you’d like to include in your blog post, attached it to your email when submitting your post. If you can’t find an image that represents your blog post’s subject, feel free to include a photo of yourself. Please include the company name for any and all photo credits.
• 5. When your submission is complete, simply email it to us at info@indygettinghitched.com.

REAL INDY

Did you photograph a beautiful Indy wedding or an awesome engagement session at a great Indy location? Are you a bride who would like to submit your own wedding or engagement session? Submissions are accepted from brides and photographers.

{ THE PURPOSE } To inspire and educate Indy Brides with gorgeous pictures of real Indy weddings with real Indy brides and real Indy vendors.

{ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR } We’re looking for weddings with unique flair, exciting DIY projects, and great use of local Indy vendors. Weddings that can highlight Indy with style and beauty while sharing inspiration with other Indy brides.

{ SUBMISSION } To submit a wedding for selection, please email the following to info@indygettinghitched.com:

• 1. Your Images: Please submit images in one of the two following ways: 1. A link to a website or blog of your wedding images 2. An e-mail attachment submission of 15-20 images. {Please be sure that these images show off some of the following: DIY, style, location, decor, attire, the happy couple.}
• 2. Photographer Contact: To share your images on Indy Getting Hitched, we will need the “OK” from your photographers. Please include the name and email contact of your wedding photographer in your submission.
• 3. Location: Please be sure to include the location of both your ceremony and reception.
• 4. And finally, a brief description: What made your Indy wedding unique? We’d love to hear about your details, DIY projects, and inspiration.

{If your Real Indy wedding is selected, we will contact you within two weeks with a few follow-up questions and further photo selection. }
