Have you always dreamed of having an outdoor wedding? What better place to celebrate becoming a new family than in your (or a close family member’s) backyard! Tip: Be sure to keep your guest list rather short, as most backyards can fit around 100 people comfortably! Also, always be sure to have a plan B if you are wanting an outdoor wedding! Sometimes the weather doesn’t want to cooperate!

For decor, we suggest twinkle lights and lanterns to set a romantic and whimsical mood as well as antique teacups and saucers stacked on vintage books as centerpieces.

For a backyard wedding, low key comfort food is the way to go! Grilled chicken, corn on the cob, and potato salad will go nicely with freshly baked pies and homemade cookies for dessert! Tip:Put a different flavored pie on each table to be used as decor that also are a yummy treat for guests!

A charming lemonade and iced tea stand would be perfect for your backyard wedding!

Not sure what to use as a getaway car? We love the idea of using a tandem bike for the two of you! (Be sure to make sure your dress allows you to do this, Indy bride!) A tandem bike is super fun and you can get absolutely adorable photos taken with it!
