Love it/Hate it: Matching Bridesmaids

We have noticed that over the past few years, bridesmaids’ dresses have become more diverse. No longer are bridesmaids all wearing the same dress, nor the same color. Some brides have opted out of matching her bridesmaids and have gone for a more diverse style for each of her favorite ladies.

The main reason for having each bridesmaid wear a different style is all of the unique body types. Different body types require dresses that help to flatter specific figures.

Another issue to consider is the fact that some girls may not feel comfortable in certain styles. Some of your bridesmaids may love the look of strapless dresses while others in your bridal party may prefer a halter or one shoulder.

Brides are also choosing different colors for their bridesmaids. It is common to see each bridesmaid have a different shade within the wedding color palette. Some brides love the variety this choice brings, while others think that it creates an unbalanced feel.
